Push Up Challenge 2024: Final Countdown!
The Push-Up Challenge is a free mental health and fitness event focused on pushing for better mental health for all Australians. Participants complete 3,249 push-ups (or alternative exercises) over 24 days, representing the 3,249 lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2022.

With just five days left in the 2024 Push Up Challenge, our Whitefriars Community is breaking records! We’ve completed an impressive 178,357 push-ups, putting us only 21,643 away from our goal of 200,000.

To everyone who has contributed by doing one, some or many push-ups, thank you! Your efforts are helping us better understand mental health. Each morning’s target has provided invaluable insights into the factors affecting our community. This challenge has given us the opportunity to move, talk and connect with friends, fostering a stronger, more supportive community.

In these final five days, let’s push through to complete the remaining 21,643 push-ups and see how much further we can go by Friday. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the stats in Notices on Seqta. We’re just 1,500 push-ups away from surpassing last year’s record!

Let’s finish strong!
