ACC Art and Technology Exhibition

On Wednesday 15 May, Whitefriars College joined with the 12 other ACC schools in the bi-annual ACC Art and Technology Exhibition at the Edge, Federation square. This exhibition has been a year and half in the planning and preparation, with a year’s postponement due to COVID.

If you got the chance to visit, you would have seen a vast array of students work from each of the 13 schools across all year levels in the Visual Arts and Technology areas using student’s work completed in 2023. Our Visual Arts Captain Phil Deane – who had his Unit 4 painting on display – was one of the students who spoke at the Opening!

Students whose work was featured, include:

  • Year 8 – Luke Coviello, Carter Cox, Charlie Gniel, Liam Zalunardo, William Wright, Liam Smith, and William Griffiths.
  • Year 9 – Thomas Melnyk, Ben Chincarini, Hudson Busuttil
  • Year 10 – Hugo Bell, Ahsees Lamba, Hamish Scott, James McGowan
  • Year 11 – Jack Ryan, Jeremy Lin, Joel Vander
  • Year 12 – Phil Deane
  • Past Students – Angus Clayton, Aidan Mayorkinos, Harry Riddiford and Andrew Mattioli.

Well done to everyone involved.
