As part of the Science Enrichment Program, students from Years 7 to 9 were invited to participate in the Rio Tinto Big Science Competition earlier this year.
This competition was targeted toward the Juniors with 11 students competing in the challenge this year. The response from the students for this competition was overwhelmingly positive and I hope those students involved continue to develop their love for science as they move into their middle years of schooling. A summary of the results is below. I would also like to thank Dr Stephen Goodall for his coordination and organisation and Ms Laura Higgins for her drive and support of the Science Enrichment Program this year.
