To celebrate all the hard work that the Year 11 Indonesian students had done during this year, our final class together was spent making Bakmi Goreng (Indonesian Fried Noodles) from scratch – no 2 minute noodles for these students. Working in pairs, the chopping, slicing and cooking proceeded with vigour and skill, resulting in very authentic tasting mi goreng. Several Year 8 Indonesian students were able to sample the mi goreng after the event and they were impressed. Thank you to Ms Ciavarella for organising the ingredients and for ensuring that all went smoothly for us in the kitchen.
