The performing arts students and staff are gearing up for the inaugural Performing Arts Semester One Showcase next Thursday May 26 at 7pm.
After two years of disrupted learning and missed performances, this will mark the first time many of our students will perform for parents and the wider college community once again. The night promises to showcase the diversity of the Whitefriars Performing Arts ensemble, and this is a fantastic opportunity to come out and support our students’ endeavours in music and drama.
Our ensembles have been working hard on their performances, with the program including our jazz bands, choirs and vocal ensembles, selected rock bands, guitar ensembles and even some excerpts from our drama productions. The night will also feature some special student soloists, highlighting our solo instrumental program.
All tickets are $5 and can be purchased from the following link: https://www.trybooking.com/BZOVW There will also be a limited cash-only snack bar. We look forward to seeing you at the Healy-Wilson Theatre next week in support of students’ ongoing education in music and drama.
