Last Friday, we began our Home Learning Program due to the global pandemic COVID-19.
Our boys have been amazing in their focus on their studies and ongoing quest to continue to learn in a time of uncertainty.
Likewise, our teachers are inspiring in the manner in which they have come together, be it with social distancing, to reassure students and comfort them during this uncertain time and/or to provide meaningful learning opportunities. They have been very creative in looking at alternatives to learning here on campus during the week considering the changes to excursions, incursions and class activities. Our staff have spent time before, during and after school learning new ways to safely and effectively communicate with their class online which complements Whitefriars Learn and Engage.
The College is confident that the strong student, parent and school partnership will allow effective learning to take place. Likewise, Whitefriars Learn and Engage will continue to provide the main source of learning for our boys.
I wish you all the best for this time and look forward to seeing the students back on campus as soon as possible.
