My name is Dom Lepore, and I am the College English Captain for 2021.

Last Wednesday, myself and the Year 12 English and EAL cohort were lucky enough to watch a live performance of “Extinction”, a play we are currently studying in our classes.

The play was conducted incredibly well, with four highly accomplished actors and actresses from the Complete Works Theatre Company, giving us an unparalleled insight into the story of “Extinction”.

Watching the play live has certainly allowed us as a cohort to view the characters in a new light, especially by seeing for ourselves the various theatrical elements of “Extinction”, as well as use of props and staging. This experience will certainly help us with our analysis of the play, having enriched our understanding of the inner workings of the play.

We would like to say a special thank you to the Complete Works Theatre Company, for giving us all this eye-opening experience, and we appreciate their time and generosity.
