The Sustainability and Environment Team are thrilled of the recent approval of a Community Garden Hub. Staff and students have indicated a need for a dedicated outdoor space where the community can come together, learn and work on a variety of projects across all learning areas. The Community Garden Hub will incorporate an edible garden, break out spaces, Carmelite space for prayer and meditation, sensory garden, potential café, seating and utility area. This area will be developed over five years. Semken Landscape have come up with a concept design that has incorporated all elements that the College desired. The Sustainability and Environment Team look forward to working with the community in this space to highlight the Carmelite traditions and sustainability journey the College is on.
