As part of the Science Enrichment Program, students from Years 7 to 9 were invited to participate in the Rio Tinto Big Science Competition earlier this term.
This competition was targeted toward the juniors with six students competing in this year’s challenge. The results this year were outstanding reflecting a high level of science knowledge of those who participated. I hope those students involved continue to develop their love for science as they move into their senior years of schooling. A summary of the results is below. I would like to thank Dr Stephen Goodall for his coordination and organisation of this activity and Ms Daniela Carboon for her drive and continued support of the Science Enrichment Program.
