A number of students in the intermediate levels participated in an initiative called the Bebras Australia Computational Thinking Challenge. Whitefriars College’s involvement is part of an international initiative whose goal is to promote computational thinking amongst students. The Bebras Challenge is delivered online. Students from Years 7 to 8 competed in the challenge and were given the choice of competing individually or in groups. Of particular note were Bill Donaldson and Benjamin Weng who both received High Distinctions.
I would like to congratulate all students on their involvement in this challenge.
